Plaintiff filed this action in state court as Administrator of the Estate of Clifton Chad Ingle, deceased, seeking to recover accidental death benefits pursuant to a policy Ingle had with defendant, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (“Metlife”). Metlife removed the action to this Court under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. § 2202 et seq. (“ERISA”).
