This cause comes to this court on an appeal from a decree of divorce entered in the circuit court in favor of plaintiff Merry Fahrney Berlingieri and against defendant Arturo Berlingieri on the ground of cruelty.

From the testimony it appears that the plaintiff claims she resided in Chicago, Illinois, prior to her marriage to said defendant and that said defendant prior thereto resided in Borne, Italy; that plaintiff and defendant were married in Harrison, New York on July 31,1937; that after they were married plaintiff lived at…
