Plaintiff appeals as of right from the order of the lower court granting defendant’s motion for summary disposition pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(7) (release). We affirm.

This case arises from a May 1994 automobile accident. Plaintiff’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle owned by Boyan Daskal and driven by Veliko Velikov. Defendant David Opper allegedly caused Velikov to swerve into oncoming traffic and strike plaintiff’s vehicle.
