delivered the opinion of the court.
This is an action for damages for breach of a written employment contract between the plaintiff, an assistant professor of biology, and the defendant, the University of Illinois.
In September of 1955 the plaintiff, Leo Francis Koch, joined the faculty of the University of Illinois as a biologist under an employment contract of two years duration.
