Appellant-plaintiff in the instant action is a resident of Sumter County. Her husband died in Sumter County as the result of injuries sustained in a vehicular collision which had occurred in Stewart County. The other vehicle involved in the collision was a truck owned by appellee-defendant Bobby Stevens Hauling Contractors, Inc. (Bobby Stevens), a motor carrier. Bobby Stevens is a Georgia corporation which has its principal office in Muscogee County and no office or place of doing business in Sumter County.
