kThe defendant was found guilty of three counts of attempted second degree murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The trial court imposed sentences of forty years at hard labor for each of the defendant’s three convictions for attempted second degree murder, and ten years at hard labor for his conviction for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The trial court ordered that the defendant’s sentences run concurrently with each other and that they be served without the benefit of probation, parole, or other suspension of sentence.
