OPINION
HILL, Justice.
Harbison-Fischer Manufacturing Co., Inc. appeals from a judgment in favor of Mohawk Data Sciences Corp., its assignee Decision Data Computer Corp., and Broc L. Sterett, the appellees. The appellees had obtained their judgment in the State of New York confirming the results of arbitration between the appellant and appellees conducted in that state. Subsequently, the appellees filed their judgment in Texas in accordance with the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act (UEFJA), Tex. Civ.PRAc. & Rem.Code Ann. ch. 35 (Vernon 1986).
