Defendant appeals his convictions for official misconduct and obstructing justice. We affirm.
On April 6, 1990, a grand jury indicted defendant on three counts of official misconduct and one count of obstructing justice. Count I charged defendant with official misconduct in that as a police officer on duty for the City of Decatur, Illinois, defendant knowingly performed an act which he knew was forbidden by law to perform.
