At the last moment the able advocate for the claimant filed a voluminous and exhaustive printed argument in which the evidence in the entire case is examined with great analytical and critical ability. This was not, as I have been informed, furnished to either the advocate for the libelants, or the advocate for the intervenors. I should have given the opposing advocates in the case an opportunity to be further heard on the questions discussed if I had thought it necessary to a proper determination of any of the points raised in the argument.
