OPINION
MacMAHON, District Judge.
This is an application for approval of a settlement under Rule 23(e), Fed.R. Civ.P., and attorney’s fees in this class action. An objeetant also moves to intervene as an additional party plaintiff.
The plaintiff class, consisting of more than 26,000 shareholders of Avco Corporation (“Avco”), complains that Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act, 15 U.S.C. § 78j(b), and Rule 10b(5) of the Securities Exchange Commission were violated by defendants when the Paul Revere Corporation (“Revere”) purchased some of their Avco stock allegedly without full disclosure…
