This proceeding presents the construction of an unusual statute on forfeiture of - automobiles involved in violation of the internal revenue laws, relating to liquors. I am frank to say after twelve years on the bench it is the first time the problem has reached the stage of contest, hearing and necessity for my analysis and judicial decision.
