This is a case of first impression concerning the attorney work-product doctrine.

Appellant was convicted of murder based, in part, upon his DNA being found at the crime scene. After the State’s DNA experts were cross-examined about the accuracy of their DNA testing techniques and results, the State, on re-direct, questioned them about the identity and “eminent” qualifications of another expert, Robert Benjamin, who was “involved in the case.” The State’s experts also testified that they had…
