COVINGTON, Judge.

Melissa J. Neal appeals the trial court’s refusal to restore her maiden name, the trial court’s order changing the name of the minor child born of the marriage, and the court’s award of child support. Melissa J. Neal (Wife) and Bruce L. Neal (Husband) were married on September 10, 1994. They separated in February of 1995. Wife was pregnant. She filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in March, in which she requested, inter alia, orders relative to the minor child yet to be born and restoration of her maiden name.
