OPINION
WEISBERG, Acting Presiding Judge.
Plaintiffs appeal the judgment entered following a jury trial, arguing that the trial court erred by excluding certain evidence. Because we conclude that the trial court did not abuse its discretion, we affirm.
FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY
On January 2, 1988, Richard Gordon experienced severe chest pain and was admitted to Mesa Lutheran Hospital (the “hospital”). He was placed in the care of Dr. James Liguori, a cardiologist.
