Plaintiff in error, Peter Peplos, was indicted by the grand jury of Winnebago county for the crime of selling intoxicating liquor after having been previously convicted of the same offense. The trial resulted in a verdict of guilty. Motions for a new trial and in arrest of judgment were overruled and plaintiff in error was sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary for not less than one nor more than two years and to pay a fine of $1500 and costs.
