On May 17, 2013, upon the appearance of the defendant with his assigned counsel, Diane Webster, Esq., and the appearance of Assistant District Attorney Laura Forbes, this court conducted a risk level determination proceeding under the dictates of article 6-C of the Correction Law, otherwise known as the Sex Offender Registration Act (hereinafter, SORA).
