Raymond Thibodeau appeals the trial court’s order granting summary judgment in favor of Dodeka, L.L.C. Because the trial court did not err in granting summary judgment, we affirm.

Background

Dodeka was assigned Thibodeau’s credit card debt and ultimately sued Thibodeau in 2009 in the justice court to collect approximately $9,600 of that debt. Thibo-deau did not file an answer to the suit, and the justice court granted a default judgment in 2010 in favor of Dodeka in the amount of $9,604.32. Thibodeau did not appeal.
