This case comes before the court on plaintiffs’ petition for leave to amend their complaint to aver that defendant was guilty of reckless and wanton conduct. The original complaint averred reckless, careless, and negligent operation of an automobile. The statute of limitations has run.
The right to amend pleadings should be liberally granted at any stage of the proceedings unless there is resulting prejudice to the adverse party.
