On April 22, 2016, plaintiff Pierre Richard Augustin filed a complaint seeking discharge of his student loan debt pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(8). Now before the court is the motion for summary judgment filed by defendant United States Department of Education (the "DOE"), opposed by Mr. Augustin without the assistance of counsel. ECF 48, 49, 50, 51.
