SHIRAS, District Judge.

This action was brought in the circuit court for the district of Colorado by the defendant in error against the city of Denver and the Denver Consolidated Electric Company to recover damages for personal injuries caused her by the falling of an electric light pole to which were attached the wires which supported the lamp used in lighting the city streets. In her petition, the plaintiff, as ground of jurisdiction, averred that she was a citizen of the state of Kansas, and that the defendants were corporations created under the laws of the state of Colorado.
