Jane A. Aikman died on or about the 16th day of September, 1909, having first made, executed and published her last will and testament and codicils thereto.

In the introductory paragraph of the will the testatrix says:

*429“As my estate was derived from both of my parents, I deem it proper to divide the same among their respective relatives and to such societies as would best meet their wishes if living, and', therefore, order and direct as follows.”
