delivered the opinion of the court.

George Meece, Jr., appellee, who sues by Ruth O. Meece, his mother and next friend, recovered a judgment in an action on the case in the sum of $4,000 against Holland Furnace Company, appellant.

In the declaration it is charged that the defendant was possessed of a certain automobile which was being driven through its duly authorized agent on the premises known as 1312 West Locust street, Bloomington, Illinois, and that the said George Meece, Jr. was then and there a minor of the age of seven years and was on and about the…
