MEMORANDUM OPINION
SUE L. ROBINSON, District Judge.
I. INTRODUCTION
Kenneth R. Abraham (“plaintiff’), a former Delaware Department of Correction (“DDOC”) inmate, filed a pro-se complaint against numerous defendants on September 26, 2007. (D.I. 2) In accordance with the screening procedures set forth in the Prison Litigation Reform Act (“PLRA”),1 the court reviewed plaintiffs complaint and determined that he could move forward on his 42 U.S.C. § 1983 excessive force claims against Officer Cpl.
