The bill of complainants below is based upon the theory that the confessed judgments are void, and it is in effect admitted that if they are not, the decree of the circuit court was right. It is, we think, well settled, at least in this State, that a corporation, by its president, treasurer or secretary, if authorized to do so, may execute promissory notes of the company with warrants of attorney to confess judgments thereon.
