This is an appeal by defendant, Julius F. Weber, from a judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, following a jury trial in which defendant was found guilty of aggravated arson, aggravated burglary, burglary, and breaking and entering.

This case arose out of a suspected arson fire which destroyed a home at 5362 Swisher Road, Groveport, Ohio, on February 5, 1996. The defendant and his brother, Louis E. Weber, were both indicted on February 29, 1996, on charges of aggravated arson, in violation of R.C. 2909.02, aggravated burglary, in violation of R.C. 2911.11,…
