ELLIS, Justice.

This is a conversion case. Following a non-jury trial, the trial court entered judgment for Gulf Coast Dodge, Inc. d/b/a Clear Lake Dodge (Dodge), appellee. We affirm.

In February of 1991, appellee acquired a 1988 Mazda RX-7 (the Mazda) as a trade-in from Roderick A. Garcia. Mr. Garcia was purchasing a car from appellee and used the Mazda as a trade-in. The car was stored on appellee’s lot. In April of 1991, dining its monthly inventory, appellee discovered that the Mazda was missing.
