This action was brought to foreclose a lien for labor and material furnished in the construction of a dwelling house. The defendants resisted the foreclosure, and affirmatively sought damages because the house was not substantially constructed in the manner required by the contract. The cause was tried to the court without a jury, and resulted in a judgment in favor of the defendants in the sum of two hundred forty dollars, from which the plaintiff appeals.
