Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Tioga County (Siedlecki, J.), rendered July 17, 1987, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.

Defendant raises several issues on this appeal which he contends require reversal of his conviction: (1) invalidity of the search warrant pursuant to which evidence was seized from defendant’s grandfather’s house, (2) error in County Court’s failure to suppress both evidence seized and a statement made by defendant to a police officer, (3) ineffective…
