An arbitrator for the Industrial Commission found that on October 17, 1975, petitioner, David L. Pollard, suffered accidental injuries arising out of and in the course of his employment by respondent, Peavey Mills, and awarded him compensation for a period of 12 weeks of temporary total disability and compensation for 20% permanent partial disability. On review, without taking additional evidence, the Industrial Commission, finding that petitioner failed to establish a causal connection between the accident and his condition of ill-being, set aside the award.
