HOCH, J.
Defendant Tuyen Tran appeals the trial court’s denial of his motion to reduce his 2005 felony conviction for assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury to a misdemeanor. (Pen. Code, § 17, subd. (b)(5) (section 17(b)).)
