This was a suit to enforce the settlement of a personal injury claim. Appellant, John W. Thornberry, filed a three-count complaint against appellees, Board of Education of the City of Chicago, Consolidated Mutual Insurance Company and the law firm of Pretzel, Stouffer, Nolan & Rooney. In lieu of answer, appellees moved to dismiss the complaint on the ground that none of its counts stated a cause of action against any of the defendants and that the subject of the suit was res judicata.
