This is a proceeding for the judicial settlement of the account of Judson R. Hooper and Nellie J. Hooper, as administrators of the estate of Frank H. Barker. The only matters in litigation are the claims of Cook Academy and Keuka College, *804each for the sum of $3,000, together with accrued interest at the rate of five per cent per annum from the date of death of said deceased. These claims are based on two promissory notes, reading as follows:(a)
