This -suit was broug’ht by appellee against appellant, in the circuit court of Phillips County, to recover $155 as beneficiary in the life insurance policy issued to her aunt, Anna Harden, who is a negro woman, by appellant, on April 18, 1927, the policy being based upon an application of date March 31, 1927, which contained the following questions and answers:

“(1). The applicant was asked, ‘What medical or surgical attention have you had in the last five years?’ Her answer was, ‘None.’ (2). She was asked, ‘Have you ever had heart disease?’ and her answer was ‘No.’ (3). She was asked, ‘Are…
