WASHINGTON, Chief Judge:

Appellant Fredrick É. Morton (“Mr. Morton”) was charged with a series of crimes1 in connection with a burglary in which he allegedly broke into an apartment and stole several items including-a wallet, credit cards, and a set of car keys which were used to steal a car parked nearby.
