As it reaches us this case involves the liability of defendant First National Bant of Dyersburg to the complainant, J. B. Lee, on account of certain cotton transactions hereafter detailed. The chancellor dismissed the bill, and complainant has appealed to this court.
The complainant, J. B. Lee, is a farmer and cotton dealer living at Gates, Tenn. Prince & Hubbard were formerly cotton dealers at Dyersburg, Tenn. In February, 1920, Lee sold to Prince & Hubbard sixty-one bales of cotton at thirty-one cents a pound,'amounting to $9,563.44. By an arrangement between the parties this cotton was…
