On July 19, 1983, this Court reversed a decision of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (the “Secretary”) 1 denying plaintiff’s application for disability insurance benefits, pursuant to section 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g). Plaintiff’s attorneys, associated with the Legal Services for the Elderly, now move for allowances of attorneys’ fees and litigation costs in the amount of $16,-151.50 pursuant to the Equal Access to Justice Act, 28 U.S.C. § 2412(d) (the “EAJA”).
