PREWITT, Presiding Judge.

Defendant was convicted of robbery in the first degree and sentenced to ten years imprisonment. Defendant’s brief, filed by counsel who did not represent him at trial, contains four points relied on.

Defendant’s first point contends that the trial court erred in granting the state’s motion for a continuance. The robbery occurred at approximately 9:00 p. m. on May 13,1979, and defendant was arrested at 11:38 that evening. A preliminary hearing was held June 5, 1979, and defendant was arraigned before a circuit judge on June 8, 1979. Trial was set for July 30, 1979.…
