The plaintiffs, Douglas Warford, Isabelle Taylor, LLC (“the shipowner”), and CNA Insurance Company, proceeding as War-ford’s assignee and the shipowner’s subro-gee, are suing to recover for personal injury and property damage arising out of an explosion and fire on the shipowner’s fishing vessel, the F/V Isabelle Taylor, insured by CNA. The defendants, Industrial Power Systems (“IPS”) and A.F. Theriault & Son Ltd. (“Theriault”), move in limine to preclude certain of the plaintiffs’ witnesses from offering expert testimony at the upcoming bench trial.…
