Appellee, the city of Chicago, filed a petition in the circuit court of Cook County to condemn two tracts of improved land owned by William B. Harbecke and his brother Fred W. Harbecke, who, along with their wives, are the appellants. One tract, identified in the record as No. 98, was a complete quarter section of 160 acres, while the other, referred to as No. 774, was an L-shaped tract of approximately 126 acres.
