OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, David J. Sheets, appeals the sentencing decision of the Clermont County Court of Common Pleas.

{¶ 2} Appellant was indicted in December 2004 on one count of aggravated theft. He was subsequently indicted in 2005 for grand theft and misuse of credit cards (for a total of three felony counts). The charges stemmed from a course of conduct between September 2002 and December 2004 during which appellant, a travel agent and the owner of The Travel Center in Milford, Ohio, gave customers discounts if they paid him in cash or by check.
