OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Chad P. Copeland, appeals his sentence from the Butler County Court of Common Pleas. We affirm the decision of the trial court.

{¶ 2} Appellant was convicted of 21 criminal counts1 for his involvement in a check-kiting scheme and a theft from an investment scheme. Appellant was sentenced to 23 years in prison and ordered to pay $216,500 in fines and $868,381.68 in restitution. Appellant appealed his conviction and sentence to this court in State v.
