The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, after a jury trial, of possession of cocaine with intent to sell in violation of General Statutes § 21a-277 (a), and possession of cocaine in violation of *604General Statutes § 21a-279 (a).1 The defendant claims that the trial court improperly (1) denied his motions to sever his trial from that of his codefendant, (2) failed to suppress evidence in violation of his state and federal constitutional rights, and (3) admitted certain evidence despite an insufficient chain of custody. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
