¶1 Karen Johnson accepted a Civil Rule (CR) 68 offer of judgment presented by the Washington State Department of Transportation (DOT), settling her claim against DOT for violations of the Washington Law Against Discrimination (WLAD).1 After accepting the offer, Johnson petitioned the trial court for an award of attorney fees and costs pursuant to the agreement.
