MEMORANDUM DECISION REGARDING TRUSTEE’S OBJECTIONS TO EXEMPTION CLAIMS

This dispute brings into focus several issues concerning the availability of state and federal exemptions to joint debtors who have sought relief under the United States Bankruptcy Code (“Code”). The debtors, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Skipwith, filed their Chapter 7 petition on May 19, 1980. The trustee, Mr. Philip J.
