*50Appellee, Charles G-arst, alleged that Woodrow Hendricks, infant son of appellant, J. D. (Jim) Hendricks, with the consent and permission of his father, used his father’s Ford pickup truck, a truck permitted by appellant to be used for the convenience and pleasure of his family; that on August 23, 1947, he had parked his 1940 Packard automobile “adjacent on a public highway in Muhlenberg County * * * near Briar Creek Church”; that Woodrow Hendricks drove appellant’s truck in a reckless and negligent manner at an excessive rate of speed, without keeping a proper lookout and…
