PHILLIPS, Chief Justice.

Appellant, Manuel C. Martinez, following a plea of not guilty, was convicted, in a trial before the jury, of burglary of a building, pursuant to Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 30.-02(a)(1) (1974). The court assessed punishment at three years’ confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections.

Appellant presents this Court with nine grounds of error. In essence, appellant alleges the trial court erred in failing to suppress his written confession because it was fruit of an unlawful detention and should not have been submitted to the jury as there was no showing it was…
