OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Clarence Wiley, appeals from a judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas convicting him of the murder of Kelly Evans. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

{¶ 2} On May 23, 2002, defendant was indicted by the Franklin County Grand Jury on one count of aggravated murder with a firearm specification in violation of R.C. 2903.01 and 2941.145, respectively, and one count of having a weapon while under a disability in violation of R.C. 2923.13.
