Unless the plaintiff school district was dissolved by the action of the three justices of the peace appointed by the judge of the County Court under R. L. s. 547, it is still a legal school district. It is well settled that “ particular jurisdictions derogating from the general jurisdiction of the courts of common law are ever taken strictly, and cannot be extended farther than the express letter of their privileges will warrant.” This rule governs the jurisdiction of the three justices of the peace in attempting to dissolve the plaintiff…
