Plaintiff in error, who will be hereinafter referred to as *825the defendant, was president of the Farmers State Bank of Overton, Nebraska, and in the district court for Dawson county, upon trial by jury, was convicted of a violation of the banking laws on counts 9, 13, and 14 of the information charging such violations, and has filed his petition in error in this court to review the judgment of conviction.
