Plaintiff's, in a petitory action, seek to be recognized as owners, and to recover possession of a valuable plantation, situated in the parish of Natchitoches, and alleged to be in the illegal possession of defendants. They allege title as the only heirs of their deceased mother, *440Mary E. Blanchard, who had acquired the property by purchase from the succession of her father, Frangois Gaiennie.
